Good news! I’m finally ordering the scaler from the poll I took. I’m still not telling y’all which one it will be (due to the tie) but I bet y’all can figure it out considering recent news. Look forward to it and another review coming soon. Hope to announce my next RC on Wednesday Nov. 7!
Traxxas just announced a new vehicle in the Traxxas Rally. It is similar to their current 1/16 scale Rally except it’s 1/10. The new car is based on a new LCG Slash 4×4 chassis. The new car will come brushless and waterproof. Expect a release date sometime this month.
More info can be found on the Traxxas website.
The poll for my next review has now been closed! The kit will be put on order soon and I’ll try to post up a quick initial review as well. Thanks for the input and look forward to the review.

My review of the Iron Tracks Mastadon from NitroRCX.com is now up. This was a great little truck and I look forward to putting some elbow grease into it.

Hobbyking.com is now carrying a brand new Trackstar SCT 550 sized Turnigy motor. Another great addition to the line-up, this motor looks to be very powerful. I’ve got one on order now and will review it once it arrives.

Well Turnigy and Hobbyking have just released another new SCT, this time in the form of a 2wd. This one is based off the Turnigy DB chassis which in turn is “heavily influenced” by the Kyosho Ultima chassis. I saw this coming but I’m happy to report this new truck has mudflaps and is less that $120. Yeah, less than $120. Go ahead, sit down and catch your breath. Hoping they get the parts up soon so I can get a hold of that rear bumper. For those keeping count this is the 3rd Turnigy SCT announced this month.
Team Losi Racing (TLR) have just rleased detail of their upcoming 22SCT. Based on the 22 buggy, this truck should bring some welcome competition to the Kyoshos and Associateds. This could be the final key in a 2wd SCT evolution along with Durangos plans for a similar truck.

I’ve just uploaded my review of my first boat, the Aquacraft Minimono. I had a ton of fun with this great little boat and, for around $120, they are a steal.
